The Acting Attorney General was of opinion that the termo of the Act of Parliament contemplated
(contingency of a vessel being unable to procure qualified European Aurgeon, and I found a precedent in the case of the ship "Beatrice which was allowed by Sir John Bouring under
Mr Green's advice, to depart without the European Surgeon.
